Inglis spends day off supporting women's league

Queensland Maroons captain Greg Inglis has given the NRL Women's National Championship the strongest endorsement possible, choosing to spend his only day off in Origin camp at the event.

Less than a week after inheriting the Maroons' captaincy from Cameron Smith, Inglis was at Owen Park at Southport on the Gold Coast for Day Two of the women's titles.

Always a strong supporter of women's rugby league, he spent the day with family in perfect weather enjoying the entertaining football on display.

The South Sydney star was not only supporting the Queensland teams that were participating, but also Rabbitohs female spearheads Nakia Davis-Welsh and Eunice Grimes.

Southport is this weekend home to not only the Women's National Championship, but also the QRL Men's Divisional Carnival and the QRL Women's Divisional Carnival.
