SEQ clean sweep at State Junior Champs

The South East Queensland Water Dragons have made a title-clean sweep at the QRL State Junior Championships following four quality days of the state's best junior rugby league action in Mackay earlier this monyh.

History repeated itself in the Under 14 Boys grand final when another 16-16 draw was recorded, this time featuring both SEQ sides.

Both Water Dragons' teams also battled off for the Under 16 Boys honours once again, however last year's result was reversed with White claiming a comprehensive 30-18 win over their city-cousins.

In the Under 14 Girls division, the SEQ Water Dragons reclaimed the Heather Ballinger Shield after the Central Crows' maiden victory last year.

South East Queensland also successfully defended their title once again in the Under 16 Girls division, the third year in a row the Water Dragons have dominated in the age group.
