Round 18 stats: Earl's noble effort

Huge effort in defence was a standout statistic from Round 18; with a number of players from across the Intrust Super Cup make upwards of 40 in their matches.

Jets forward Rowan Winterfield was close to the top for the round with 45, while Mackay's Bennett Leslie came in with 43, as did Burleigh hooker Pat Politoni. Hunter Radley Brawa was again a high contributor for his team with 40.

However, it was Falcons players Harry Grant and Chris Lewis topped the count with 47 apiece.
Their Sunshine Coast team-mate Sandor Earl also had a strong game for his side in his fifth game back from suspension and injury; running for 219m and scoring a try in the win over Wynnum Manly.
