Instagram post indicates Pearson is done

Redcliffe and Brisbane Broncos flyer Jonus Pearson has seemingly confirmed he will take no further part in season 2018.

Pearson posted to Instagram this morning: "Well that's me done for 2k18 season. Will be back better and stronger for the next season."

While Pearson's update does not contain any details, it comes after he appeared to suffer a fractured wrist early in Saturday's game against the Townsville Blackhawks.

He has been replaced in the Redcliffe line-up this week by Josh Beehag, while Scott Schulte comes in to replace Kotoni Staggs for Saturday's match against the Northern Pride.

Pearson has been one of the most prolific players in the competition this season, nabbing 14 tries in 18 appearances.

He featured in two NRL games for the Broncos this season, scoring a try against the Gold Coast Titans.

Redcliffe is currently in top spot on the Intrust Super Cup ladder.
