Fans unite to showcase new Maroons jersey
Passionate Queensland fans feature in the official unveiling of the new Maroons ISC jersey released on maroonsshop.com today.
Filmed using real fans at iconic settings, this unique piece shows how much the strip means to Queenslanders young and old, from the country to the city.
Titled “It’s more than a jersey”, the clip captures the immense pride of a father and son as they touch the maroon jumper from the surrounds of the cane fields.
From an energetic group of children kicking a footy, to a shift worker roaring for his team with his prized jersey beneath his trusty overalls, it’s a video that encapsulates the true meaning of Origin and the pride in the jumper.

The 2019 design is a modern twist on an old classic, featuring two-tone maroon colours.
“This jersey is about celebrating our past and looking ahead to our future,” Maroons coach Kevin Walters said.
“Our fans are at the heart of everything we do – and I’m thrilled that some of our most dedicated supporters got to feature in the unveiling.
“It’s inspiring to have such strong support. Next year’s series is going to be extremely exciting for everyone involved, particularly with a home match at Suncorp Stadium followed by an historic game in Perth.”
The jersey is available now exclusively on maroonsshop.com and across major sports retailers from early December.
All orders received by December 12 will be delivered before Christmas.
