Redcliffe Dolphins and XXXX Queensland Residents duo Izaia 'Izzy' Perese and Nathan Watts sat down with Ian Apps for Episode 7 of Left Field.
Perese, a former Queensland Reds star, spoke about falling out of love with rugby union and his decision to leave the sport, the difference between the two cultures, and how he has been re-adjusting his fitness for back-to-back reps.
Watts, an apprentice electrician, talked about overcoming a badly broken jaw to play in the 2018 Intrust Super Cup grand final; and about missing a good portion of the 2019 pre-season after breaking his leg riding a dirt bike "very poorly".
The duo also discussed their future aspirations.
