The recent Queensland Pacific Island Cultural Carnival was a great event, with four nations displaying their pride in the three-day event.
Held at Beenleigh’s Bill Norris Oval on October 25 to October 27, players representing Papua New Guinea, the Cook Islands, Samoa and Tonga competed cross the open men’s, open women’s, Under 18 Boys, Under 16 Boys, Under 16 Girls and Under 14 Boys age groups in a number of pool matches.
Little league fans were also catered for with the new League Stars playing option provided to Under 12 Development, Under 12 Experienced, Under 10 and Under 8 teams on the Saturday.
On Sunday, the finals were played with the winning nations crowned in each of the main divisions with some entertaining games played to excite the crowd.
