Rabbitohs: The Rabbitohs are 1-17. Jaxson Paulo will return on the wing for the suspended Dane Gagai and Hame Sele has replaced Patrick Mago on the bench. Prop Junior Tatola has been named on the extended bench after missing last round with a knee injury but he was cut from the squad on Wednesday along with Cory Denniss.

Five-eighth Cody Walker will play despite a leg niggle last week. Troy Dargan, who stepped into the halves when Walker was suspended earlier this season, was named in the reserves and cut an hour before kick-off along with Mago. 

The Rabbitohs have won five of their past six games against the Bulldogs.

Bulldogs: The Bulldogs are 1-17. Tim Lafai has returned at centre with Dallin Watene-Zelezniak moving to the wing and Nick Meaney dropped. With back-rower Matt Doorey injured, Chris Smith will start at lock and Josh Jackson on an edge. Luke Thompson (calf soreness) is expected to return after being named at prop.

Renouf To'omaga has dropped to the bench alongside the recalled Sione Katoa with Dean Britt the 18th man. Captain Jackson will make his 200th NRL appearance.

Meaney and James Roumanos were omitted from the squad 24 hours before kick-off. Britt and Tuipulotu Katoa were omitted an hour before kick-off.

Cowboys: North Queensland have made one late change with Tom Gilbert being promoted to start in the second row and veteran Gavin Cooper sliding back to the bench. Jake Granville and Ben Hampton were the final omissions from the match-day 17.

Jason Taumalolo (calf) makes his return to action after training well on Wednesday and being added to the 17-man squad on Thursday. His inclusion hasn't come at the expense of debutant Ben Condon, who will start on the bench.

Murray Taulagi has replaced Justin O'Neill at centre while Corey Jensen is set to start at prop with Francis Molo moving to lock for the suspended Josh McGuire.

John Asiata is also suspended with Emre Pere and debutant Ben Condon called up on the bench. Peter Hola and Marsters were the two men to drop out on Thursday.

The Cowboys have lost all four games against top-four opponents in 2020.

Panthers: Penrith are 1-17 after Billy Burns and Matt Burton were the final cuts from the match-day squad. Mitch Kenny has replaced hooker Api Koroisau, who is being rested after his head knock last week. Props James Tamou and Zane Tetevano have also been afforded a break. Moses Leota will start in the front row while Kurt Capewell and Jack Hetherington, in his first game back from a Warriors loan deal, have joined the bench.

Dean Whare and Charlie Staines were cut from the reserves 24 hours before kick-off.

The Panthers have won only one of their past seven games in Townsville.

Eels: Kane Evans and Andrew Davey have come into the starting side an hour before kick-off with Junior Paulo and Shaun Lane going to the bench.

Reed Mahoney will play after he got through the side's final training run on Friday morning. The Eels have outscored the Broncos 92-6 in their past two clashes.

Haze Dunster and Stefano Utoikamanu were cut from the reserves 24 hours before kick-off. George Jennings and Daniel Alvaro were the last two cuts an hour before kick-off.

Broncos: The Broncos are 1-17. An all-new front row with hard-working prop Payne Haas out for family reasons and Rhys Kennedy suspended. Ben Te'o and Joe Ofahengaue are set to take their places.

Five-eighth Sean O'Sullivan has been dropped. Brodie Croft was poised to return but suffered a head knock at training so Tyson Gamble will start in the halves. Jamil Hopoate and Ethan Bullemor are back on the interchange.

O'Sullivan and Pride Petterson-Robati were omitted 24 hours before kick-off. Jesse Arthars and Kobe Hetherington were cut an hour before game time.

The Broncos are one point away from having the worst defensive record in the club’s history in the regular season.

Sea Eagles: Tom Trbojevic (hamstring) has been cleared to play his first game since round six by Des Hasler. He will start at fullback, Tevita Funa switches to the wing, with Abbas Miski reverting to the interchange. 

Taniela Paseka has been promoted to prop for Addin Fonua-Blake (knee), who has been left out of the team 24 hours from kick-off along with reserve winger Reuben Garrick.

Haumole Olakau'atu and Ben Trbojevic dropped off the extended bench on game day. The Sea Eagles have scored 64 points in their past two games.

Titans: Captain Kevin Proctor will return from suspension in the second row in place of the injured Beau Fermor while Tanah Boyd has replaced Erin Clark on the bench. Strike centre Brian Kelly (ankle) has been included on the reserves and is a chance to return, with Treymain Spry likely to drop out if he does.

Reserves duo Nathan Peats and Toby Sexton were omitted from the squad on Friday. Darius Farmer and Brian Kelly were omitted from the reserves list an hour before kick-off.

The Titans are aiming for four consecutive wins for the first time since 2014.

Storm: Christian Welch and Isaac Lumelume were the first cuts from the Melbourne squad 24 hours out from kick-off. Tino Fa'asuamaleaui is Welch's replacement at prop after his COVID-19 breach saw him stood down by the club. 

Brandon Smith and Max King join the bench, with Ryley Jacks and Paul Momirovski dropping out of the extended squad on game day.

Fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen is out for another week as he manages an achilles injury. The Storm have won 17 consecutive games in Queensland.

Wests Tigers: Alex Twal is sidelined with illness so Matt Eisenhuth starts at lock and Jacob Liddle joins the bench. Tommy Talau and Michael Chee-Kam dropped off the reserves list an hour before kick-off. Jock Madden was the other player omitted from the 21-man squad on Friday.

Joey Leilua has replaced Talau at centre and Josh Reynolds is set to take over from suspended halfback Luke Brooks. Sam McIntyre has been named in the back row with Luke Garner to the bench. Russell Packer and Zane Musgrove earned bench call-ups with Elijah Taylor and Jacob Liddle dropped.

Wests Tigers have defeated the Storm in two of their past three clashes.

Roosters: Trent Robinson on Friday said Boyd Cordner would not play against Sharks. Cordner is "feeling fine" but the club is taking a cautious approach, opting to give him an extra week off after his head knock last weekend. Angus Crichton comes into the starting side.

Hooker Jake Friend will also be rested and his place is taken by Freddy Lussick.

Poasa Faamausili and Drew Hutchison have been added to the bench.

James Tedesco is being rested with Joseph Manu at fullback while Mitch Aubusson will play his club record-breaking game at centre.

Prop Siosiua Taukeiaho has also been given a spell with Jared Waerea-Hargreaves returning in his place. Lindsay Collins will start in the front row. Daniel Fifita and Matt Ivukalu were the last players cut before kick-off.

The Roosters have scored 100 points across their past two games at the SCG.

Sharks: Teig Wilton dropped off the interchange bench on Friday and his place is taken by Scott Sorensen. Billy Magoulias was the other player cut 24 hours before kick-off. Bryson Goodwin and Braydon Trindall were trimmed from the reserves an hour prior to kick-off.

Prop Aaron Woods dislocated a finger against the Warriors but should be fine. The Sharks will make their first appearance at the SCG since 1987.

Raiders: Canberra will start 1-17 after Matt Frawley and Matt Timoko were the two players dropped from the squad an hour before kick-off. Prop Sia Soliola's return from a facial fracture has been delayed by another week, with Soliola and Sam Williams omitted from the reserves list 24 hours before kick-off.

Siliva Havili is named to start at hooker with Tom Starling going to the bench. The Raiders have scored 34 points or more in four of their past five games.

Warriors: Tohu Harris and Isaiah Papali'i have swapped their prop and second-row positions in the starting side and Paul Turner and Gerard Beale were the last two players omitted from the squad.

With the team now mathematically out of the finals running and the loan players departing, plus prop Jamayne Taunoa-Brown suspended, Adam Keighran will start at centre with Hayze Perham replacing George Jennings on the wing.

Lachlan Burr will start at prop with Tom Ale to debut off the bench. Josh Curran was promoted to the bench on Saturday with Eliesa Katoa (hand) and Rocco Berry dropping out of the extended squad. The Warriors have won three of their past five games against the Raiders.

Knights: Tex Hoy is out with a hamstring injury, with Mason Lino starting at five-eighth. Pasami Saulo also dropped out of the squad 24 hours before kick-off. 

Gehamat Shibasaki replaces Edrick Lee in Newcastle's 21-man squad after the club had a player exemption approved on Friday. Lee will miss the match to attend to a private matter.

Josh King and Tautau Moga were the two players omitted an hour before the match. 

Kalyn Ponga will return from a rest at fullback but hooker Kurt Mann is suspended. Chris Randall starts at dummy-half and Phoenix Crossland joins the interchange. Hymel Hunt has earned a start at centre and Mitch Barnett will return at lock with Jacob Saifiti dropping to the pine and Josh King at 18th man.

The Knights have won their past four games at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Dragons: Euan Aitken and Adam Clune are out with hamstring injuries, with Brayden Wiliame to start in the centres, Ben Hunt at halfback, Cameron McInnes at hooker, Tariq Sims in the second row, Jackson Ford at lock and Tyrell Fuimaono on the interchange.

Eddie Blacker and Jayden Sullivan were the two players left out an hour before the match.

Young centre Max Feagai will make his debut from the interchange. The Dragons have won eight of their past 10 games against the Knights.
