Queensland Rugby League is pleased to announce the Queensland Maroons will partner with Ice Break Iced Coffee for the 2020 State of Origin series.
The partnership reunites two iconic Queensland brands after Ice Break first teamed with the Maroons several years ago.
This union will feature prominently throughout Queensland’s Origin campaign, with Maroons branding to be present on Ice Break Regular products available for purchase across major retailers in Queensland.
Ice Break branding will be visible on the front of shorts and lower back of the men’s and women’s on-field playing kit.
Angela Burr, general manager of marketing and commercial services, said Ice Break was thrilled to partner with the Maroons for the November series.
“Like the Maroons, Ice Break has a proud history in Queensland; born here and made here, and this partnership brings together two iconic Queenslanders,” Burr said.
“With such strong Queensland heritage it was a natural fit for us and we are so excited for the team and the fans for a successful 2020 series.”
QRL chief operating officer Rohan Sawyer echoed those sentiments.
“We believe the partnership is a great fit as well, and it will certainly add another element to what is shaping up to be a unique end of year series,” Sawyer said.
Sawyer acknowledged the contribution of agency MJP Projects, who assisted in aligning the brands for this partnership.
