QRL release 2020 Annual Report

In a year like no other, 2020 put us all to the test with the onset of COVID-19.

As each challenged surfaced, Queenslanders showed they could step up, show resilience and band together to make the year as good as it could be.

The Queensland Rugby League was a leader in the sporting field, and fought hard for its people and communities to not only stabilise its game-wide operations and delivery models, but set the organisation and rugby league in Queensland up for the future.

There was community football, when most thought sport would not happen, thanks to all of the volunteers and staff across the state.

The Queensland Maroons and Harvey Norman Queensland Maroons both delivered the shields back to Queensland.

Off the field, QRL delivered the Female Strategy, Reconciliation Action Plan and Diversity and Inclusion Framework, as well as a complete full re-brand.

Today, the QRL is proud to release its 2020 Annual Report, an 80-page document which captures the achievements of the year, as well as the governance and financials report.
