Anthony Don has announced his retirement after 152 games and a club-record 85 tries for the Titans.

Widely regarded as one of the Gold Coast's favourite sons, Don will hang up the boots at the end of the 2021 season.

After debuting as a 25-year-old, Don's ability to score superb tries quickly won over fans all over the NRL.

Titans coach Justin Holbrook told the club website that Don would be long remembered.

"I would like to wish the Don family of Anthony, Sam and Frankie all the best for life after footy," Holbrook said.

"Donny has invested a lot of time and hard work into this club and he deserves the accolade of being the Titans top try scorer.

"His professionalism and the high standards he sets for himself have been reflected in the number of first-grade games that he’s achieved over the past nine years."
