Every day is an eventful one in Camp Maroon – and June 9 certainly had a bit of everything with speculation about the team line-up continuing right up until it was officially announced by QRL Chairman Peter Betros.
An extended 22-man squad has been selected due to a mounting injury list, which includes star South Sydney centre Greg Inglis.
Maroons back-rower Josh Papalii was also injured while playing for the Raiders tonight and early reports indicate he could be ruled out for a number of weeks.
Looking ahead: The Maroons will tomorrow travel to Longreach for their annual Fan Day.
And the NSW Blues team will be announced at 1pm.
