THE Queensland Women’s team conducted their final training session before tomorrow’s Interstate Challenge match with a Captain’s Run at Leichhardt Oval.
Press play on the above video to hear Queensland five-eighth Ali Brigginshaw speak with QRL TV after the Queensland Women's team got off the field following their Captain's Run at Leichhardt Oval.
Although the conditions were chilly at the historic rugby league venue, the players soon found their rhythm as they went through their final preparations on the field.
The team flew down to Sydney this morning after spending the first three days at Royal Pines on the Gold Coast.
Tomorrow – the team (which features eight debutants) will have their jersey’s presented to them by Queensland Maroons Former Origin Great Mick Crocker.
While others outside the camp have focused on Queensland’s incredible recent run of success – this team have pushed that aside and have their eyes firmly fixed on tomorrow afternoon’s game and the challenge the New South Wales team will bring.
The match will be played at Leichhardt Oval at 3.30pm - $10 entry.
