Round 3 of Harvey Road Tavern Cup in Gladstone on the weekend kicked off with Brothers taking on Wallabys in a special Anzac Day clash.

Both teams were passionate about playing on this special day, and it was demonstrated in the exciting fast paced game, with Brothers getting their third win for the season 48 to 20, showing themselves as the team to beat at this early stage in the competition.

On Sunday, Valleys took on Tannum at their home grounds. Both teams showed that it won’t be a one horse race for the title this season.

This was another action packed game that provided the the loyal valleys home crowd with plenty to enjoy. Tannum eventually proved too good late in the game to skip away to a 32-12 victory.
