Ipswich Jets gains and losses

A favourite son is back in the Jets fold next year, with exciting speedster Marmin Barba signing up to again play for Ipswich after returning from Mackay.

Rugby league fans will also look forward to seeing what recruit Sam Caslick can bring to the side, with the Australian Rugby Sevens convert (and brother of Women’s Sevens star Charlotte), set to bring more speed to the team.

Another convert to keep an eye out for is Silas Redd from the USA who played 15 NFL games for Washington. The former US college running back impressed Jets coaches Ben and Shane Walker when he lined up for his first ever game of ruby league in Ipswich's Ohana Cup game against Tweed Heads in Hawaii in October.
