From our lively Under 6 juniors to our local weekend warriors and Maroons State of Origin heroes, the Queensland rugby league scene is a fast-paced mix of skill, passion and friendship.
Every participant is on their own unique rugby league journey with their own story to tell.
These stories will anchor a new show called “Grassroots to Glory” – produced by SEN in partnership with the Queensland Rugby League.
Grassroots to Glory will be hosted by leading Brisbane sports presenter Ben Davis and will air on Fridays at midday on SENQ 693, or via the SEN app.
The show will place a regular spotlight on the players and coaches involved in Queensland’s premier male and female statewide competitions – the Hostplus Cup and BMD Premiership.
Both competitions have an extraordinary track record of producing elite playing talent, coaches, high performance staff, administrators and referees.
Listeners will also be able to hear insights from legends of the game, and those involved in the Maroons’ male and female State of Origin programs.
